My film Stained Grey Cotton will be screening at the North Manchester Film Festival in May.

In collaboration with SICK! Festival 2024, and the Miners Community Arts & Music, the North Manchester Film Festival is set up to showcase local filmmakers and diverse perspectives.

Stained Grey Cotton asks what the dress code is for visiting someone in prison. When a convict's girlfriend goes to see him in her allotted visiting slot, he makes it quite clear he's not impressed with the outfit she's chosen... The prisoner is played by Tom McGarva (performing in verse down the lens in a single shot), and the viewer plays the role of the girlfriend.

There are three opportunities to see the film on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th May. Details and tickets can be found here: https://sickfestival.com/2024_event/north-manchester-film-festival-your-voice/
